Australia - Hold Your Head Up High!
My heart is swelling with pride this morning as I watch the Anzac Day March - for both the Anzac’s who fought with, then, typical Australian ‘gutso’ (I say then, because I’m not so sure it exists anymore as a majority of our Nation) and their families. Watching them reminds me of my Grandparents and all that they embodied.
Leading the march is the gorgeous Marie Bashir, our Governor General. She has been a role model of mine for many years and luckily for me just happens to be one of my dearest friends Aunt.
Today everyone should hold their head up high. We have much to be proud and grateful for.
